Jamila Haq - UK Ambassador
Oxfordshire
Jamila Haq
Hello, I'm Jamila Haq, and I'm thrilled to introduce myself as GMF's Oxfordshire & South England Ambassador. As a proud Principal of a Cambridge International School (CIE) in Kano, Nigeria, and a British Council Partner School (BCPS), I'm passionate about education, inclusivity, women's empowerment, autonomy and social progress. And, let's be real, I'm a total nerd about details (think colour-coded spreadsheets and meticulous planning).
I'm honoured to partner with GMF, an organisation that shares my values and passion for creating positive change. With a background in Science, Law and Education, and over 10 years of experience working in Nigeria, I've developed a keen eye for spotting opportunities to make a real difference.
As Ambassador, I'll be promoting GMF's mission, values, and work to various stakeholders, including potential donors, partners and community leaders. And, trust me, I'll be doing it with style and precision (because, let's face it, details matter).
I've had the pleasure of collaborating with GMF on various projects, funding and sponsoring initiatives through my network in England. And, I'm grateful to my friends and family who've contributed to our efforts, enabling us to build boreholes, support education (can start from as little as £50 per annum) and empower women in financial management. Your kindness and generosity means the world to the families GMF helps (and to me, personally).
If you're interested in learning more about GMF or getting involved, I'd love to connect with you. Let's make a difference together! Jamila Haq on Hotmail
