Fatima Imam

I’m a Lawyer by training and the Managing Director of an indigenous Telecoms Company, the first MTN Franchise in Northern Nigeria.
 
Living in Kano for the past twenty-three years has exposed me to the sad reality of the poverty, lack of education and access to healthcare of the people. 
 
Driven by compassion and a sense of social responsibility and wanting to make a difference in the lives of people, especially widows and orphans my interest in charity work was inspired.
 
GMF has given me the opportunity to alleviate some of the socio and economic problems of society.
 
As a Trustee, I feel honoured to be a part of the great work the organisation has achieved over the years, working tirelessly to see widows empowered and orphans educated and communities getting access to food and pipe borne water.
